Ingredients

English cucumber, peeled

9 oz

sushi grade tuna, finely chopped

1

ripe avocado, pitted and finely diced

1

red chili pepper, rinsed; trimmed and finely chopped

1 tsp

freshly grated ginger

2 tbsp

cilantro, rinsed and finely chopped

2 tbsp

grapeseed oil

1 tbsp

fresh lime juice, or to taste
sea salt, to taste

Directions

  1. Slice peeled cucumber into 1-inch rounds. Carefully scoop out the centre, to form a bowl.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine tuna, avocado, chili peppers, ginger, cilantro and grapeseed oil. Season to taste with lime juice and sea salt.
  3. Arrange tuna tartare in the bowls of the sliced cucumber. Serve immediately.
